Maybe you have a few questions. That’s okay; most people do. So here’s a quick collection of some of the more frequent questions people ask us… along with our answers. If you still have a question, don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll be happy to answer it personally.

Q:  Will you be listing my house on the MLS or actually buying it?
A: Pinehurst Home Buyers does not list houses because we are not agents. We are professional home buyers: We buy houses in the Houston, Harris County area that meet our purchasing criteria. Depending on the situation, we may quickly sell the property to another investor. However, we generally repair and remodel the home and resell it to a retail buyer or retain it in our company owned property portfolio.

Q:  How do you determine the price to offer on my house?
A:  Great question… our process is very straightforward and transparent. We take many pieces of information into consideration. We look at the location of the property, its current condition and any repairs needed, comparable houses sold in the area recently, and any outstanding mortgages or debts against the property. Then, we develop customized solutions, options for your specific situation.

Q:  Are there any fees or commissions to work with you?
A: This is what makes Pinehurst Home Buyers different from the traditional method of selling your house: There are NO fees or commissions when you sell your house to us. We’ll make you an offer, and if it’s a fit then we’ll buy your house (and we’ll often pay for the closing costs too!). No hassle. No gimmicks. We take the risks. Q:  How are you different from a real estate agent?
A: Real estate agents list properties and charge you a 6 percent commission to sell your house. The agent shows the properties to prospective buyers. The average sale can take months. Here’s where we’re different. Pinehurst Home Buyers is a property buying company. We don’t list houses. This means, no continuous cleanings for multiple showings. No money out of your pocket for repairs prior to the sale of your property and even better, no financing contingencies. We can make a decision to buy your house within days (sometimes the same day), pay with all cash and close quickly. No commissions.

Q:  Is there any obligation when I submit my info?
A: There is absolutely zero obligation for you. Once you tell us a bit about your property, we’ll take a look at things, maybe set up a call with you to find out a bit more, and make you an offer that’s fair for you and fair for us. From there, it’s 100% your decision on whether or not you’d like to sell your house to us… and we won’t hassle you, won’t harass you… it’s 100% your decision and we’ll let you decide what’s right for you.

Q:  When and how do I get paid?
A:  If you elect to sell your property to Pinehurst Home Buyers, first we must complete and sign a Purchase and Sales Agreement and obtain a clear title to the property. Then a closing date will be scheduled. All funds will be dispersed at closing.
